[influxdb] Telegraf and dynamic tags...

I believe that would be the only way. What is use-case exactly? Tagging all metrics with the telegraf PID?
I believe there is no way to change the default tags without restarting the daemon.

I'm evaluating telegraf as a collector primarily because it supports InfluxDB tags but I'm curious if tags can be modified dynamically without restarting the  daemon.  For example in my environment a job may run on many hosts simultaneously and it would be ideal to tag all metrics from each host with the current job id so that per job metrics can be aggregated.  It looks like the only way to achieve this is to modify the config file and restart the telegraf process.  Is this correct?  I saw some open issues on GitHub regarding dynamic configuration change, but it's not clear if this use case fits exactly with those requests.

Our use case is something similar, where we have one instance of Telegraf running, and we need to tag the host each metrics is coming from. We are running with StatsD as input format.
